Did you know that stroopwafels can be warmed up in several ways?
1. The romantic way
Enjoy it by candlelight on a dark, cosy, cold winter evening with a hot cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate with your loved one. Here’s what you do:
- Place your stroopwafel on top of your hot drink for a minute,
- flip it over once
- Enjoy a warm stroopwafel
- TIP! To make it extra romantic, let your loved one taste your waffle and you taste theirs. Super romantic, right?

2. The microwave way
Are you now thinking to yourself: oh my goodness, do I first have to wait until I have a girlfriend/wife or boyfriend/husband?
Well no, that’s not necessary. Because there’s an option 2 in this did-you-know about stroopwafels :).
Namely the Microwave Way. Very simple:
- Put your waffle in the microwave
- set the time to max 10 seconds at 750 watts
- Wait for the PING
- And enjoy!
After 10 seconds it’s indeed nice and warm, maybe even a bit hot, so be careful!! Don’t burn your tongue!
